Paella-style seasoning supplies aromatics, but the pan, rice variety and liquid ratio still control the dish. Do not assume it contains a particular amount of saffron without the ingredient specification. Use the blend as a flavor starter and follow the rice's cooking needs.

How much to use & when to add it
1 teaspoon per cup of dry rice to begin.
Use this amount as a starting point for flavor, then adjust to your food and taste. If other ingredients bring salt, sweetness or heat, account for those before adding more seasoning.
Kitchen idea: Paella-inspired vegetable rice
Sauté peppers and onion, add 1 cup rice and 1 teaspoon seasoning, then the rice's normal liquid. Cook without unnecessary stirring, following the rice directions. Add cooked peas near the end, rest and serve with lemon.
