How much to use & when to add it
1 teaspoon per pound of food, or 1/2 teaspoon per cup of cooked beans.
Use this amount as a starting point for flavor, then adjust to your food and taste. If other ingredients bring salt, sweetness or heat, account for those before adding more seasoning.
Kitchen idea: Adobo white bean skillet
Soften half a chopped onion in oil. Add a drained can of white beans, 1/3 cup water and 1 teaspoon adobo. Simmer until creamy, then fold in spinach and finish with lemon. Taste before adding salt or more seasoning.
