A General Tso's-style flavor needs a balance of sweetness, acid and savory depth, but a dry seasoning is not a finished sauce. Use a moist base and adjust the balance after cooking. Coat the cooked food briefly so a crisp surface is not soaked unnecessarily.

How much to use & when to add it
1 teaspoon per two servings to begin.

Cook firm tofu cubes until browned. Mix 1 teaspoon seasoning with 3 tablespoons water and a little soy sauce, vinegar and sweetener to taste. Warm the mixture separately, then toss with two servings of tofu and serve with rice.
